About this Project

With desires to update the entire living space of their 1980s home, the Labonte family would rely on our creative solutions to pull this whole house remodel within budget without sacrificing a truly remarkable outcome. By incorporating as much of the existing casework and kitchen layout as feasible we were able to save expense on new cabinetry, avoid additional electrical costs to meet mechanical or code compliance, and limit the disturbance of finishes that would lead to higher remodeling costs. Doing so allowed just enough financial flexibility to make sure hardwood floor refinishing and painting would also be possible. At the time of the remodel faux finishes and warm, natural tones were already the trend. This would be the key to updating the existing elements so that replacement would not be necessary. In partnership with Jackie Howell at Wonderfaux Walls, this project really became a showcase for our custom carpentry skill set and the artistry of her specialty. In the end, this project totally encompassed solutions, originality, craftsmanship, and quality which have become our trademark.

Country farmhouse renovated to family estate farmhouse

About this Project

As early retirement approaches, Rosemary finds herself seeking more time with her ponies and exploring the possibilities for residual income. Transforming her weekend getaway beautifully positioned in N Georgia becomes the focus of her attention. She has entrusted our team to help transform her quaint farmhouse into a beautiful equestrian estate on a working farm. The primary objectives are to create an elegant, one of a kind home that capitalizes on being directly connected to views of the surrounding farm while providing a cozy, lodge-like living space for unwinding after a hard days’ work tending to her passions.
